Mel Shelton District 3 Marching Band Competition
Since 2001 Iota Kappa has helped host our local marching band competition. Active members work to ensure that tickets, seating, concessions, and of course, the performing marching bands are all set to go for the evening.
Maintenance Project
August 2015
Active members teamed up with John Fransen and a few freshmen volunteers to remove and replace the chair casters on the bottoms of chairs that were unsteady.
Khaki Project

Active members took freshmen shopping for khakis before the convocation performance.
Move-in Project

Returning members of the Blue Thunder Marching Band rally together to help new members move into their housing spaces before band camp begins.
Serving Visiting Bands
Whenever we have visiting bands, we do our best to make goodie bags and meet up with our fellow KKPsi Brothers.
Conduct Us!
People are able to conduct the band in any song of their choosing from a list. All members of Blue Thunder are welcome to attend.
